SummaryImplementation of Quick Die Change system is one of the most profitable investments a stamper can make. To get started most stampers should focus on die positioning equipment and clamping. Dies are usually placed on Bolster Extensions by forklift or crane. The dies are then rolled onto the bolster using Die Rollers. Hydraulic Clamps are then used to secure the die. Die rollers and clamps are usually actuated using hydraulic Pumps. Hydraulic pumps may be manually activated or be controlled by a PLC based Control System.

A wide variety of clamps are available to meet virtually any
application.
We make a wide selection of die rollers which are elevated by
springs, hydraulic pistons or manually.
When automation is used PLC based control systems are used to monitor and control many phases of the die exchange process. Bolster ExtensionsWe offer lift-off, swing away, detachable and 'rollerless' for dies to 60,000 lbs. Interlocked truss design is used for superior strength to weight ratio.

Hydraulic pressure to 5000 psi is created by pumps driven by shop air. Hydraulic valves are turned manually or electrically in response to PLC commands. Many accessories are available to meet specific requirements. Please take a closer look at clamp parking brackets, T-slot extenders, hydraulic hose assembly equipment, add-on die flanges and ram plates.
