How it Works

Dies are placed on the Model-522 Bolster Extensions. Model-706 Die Lifters are then inserted under the die and elevated. The die lifters with the die on top then travel in T-slots until proper front back position is achieved. The die lifters are then recessed and removed. If a bolster opening is present a removable bridge may be used to help the die lifter span the opening.

	The Model-522 is a Lift-off Bolster Extension which allows convenient loading and unloading of dies onto/from press bolsters.
	Load/unload dies using forklift, die cart or crane. The force required to roll dies on/off the bolster extensions is in the range of 1% to 3% of the die weight.
	Install mounting brackets on several presses for maximum utility.
	This bolster extension has no rollers and instead is used with Model-706 Mechanical Die Lifter.
